565 Energy designs and supplies the equipment that sits between the utility and the things you plug in. We are based in Irvine, California, and we build for the North American market first — its codes, its voltages and its climate.
Why we exist
Electrification is a hardware problem.
Plenty of companies will sell you software for the energy transition. Far fewer will ship you a charger that survives ten years on a wall in Phoenix, a monitor whose readings you can defend to a tenant, or a battery cabinet you would put next to your own building.
We come from consumer and commercial electronics — two decades of bringing physical products through design, certification, tooling and retail distribution in North America. That background shapes what we make: equipment that is documented, serviceable, and honest about what it does.
The product families exist because real projects need all of them. A charger without metering is a guess. Storage without conversion is a paperweight. We would rather supply the set and stand behind how the pieces behave together.

Publish the numbers
Specifications are written to be checked. If a rating is conditional, the condition is printed next to it rather than buried in a footnote.
Build it serviceable
Sub-assemblies are replaceable and spares are stocked. A single failed component should not condemn an entire unit to landfill.
Stay open
OCPP, Modbus, REST, CSV. Your data and your equipment remain usable if you ever decide to stop buying from us.
Answer the phone
Engineering support comes from people who worked on the product, during Pacific business hours, without a tier-one script in between.
