An alarm that checks before it calls.

Most alarm systems have one job and one answer: something moved, so make noise and call someone. Shield 6D adds the step in between — it looks, decides whether what it found is a person, and gives you a window to say “that was me” before anyone is dispatched.

Verified, not guessed

Cameras confirm a human before the system escalates. A raccoon on the patio and a person at the back door are not the same event, and they should not get the same response.

A window to cancel

You get the alert with the footage before anyone else does. Twenty to sixty seconds to cancel it from your phone — which is what stops a burnt dinner becoming a police call.

Wireless, and it stays up

Every sensor is battery powered, so there is nothing to wire and nothing to cut. The hub holds its own battery and falls over to 4G/LTE when the broadband goes.

Privacy indoors

Interior cameras are infrared-only and deliberately low resolution — enough to tell a person from a pet, not enough to be a camera pointed at your family.

How an alarm actually resolves

Sixty seconds, and you are in charge of them.

0–5 s — Look. A sensor trips and the cameras that cover it start analysing. Human or animal, one camera or several.
5–20 s — Tell you. Your phone gets the alert with the footage attached, and a threat level: motion, verified person, or a coordinated breach across several sensors.
20–60 s — Your call. Cancel it, or escalate it immediately. Nothing leaves the house until this window closes.
61 s — Escalate. If you have not answered, the system escalates on its own — and it escalates with context: how many people, seen on how many cameras, and where in the house.

What is in the system

One hub, and whatever the house needs.

Hub

The decision-maker. Wired Ethernet, its own battery backup, a wireless receiver for the sensors, and 4G/LTE failover so cutting the internet does not disarm the house.

Keypads

Two, separate from the hub — so smashing the thing by the door does not smash the brain. PIN entry, with Away and Perimeter arming.

Cameras

Up to six wireless cameras with infrared night vision and two-way audio. USB-C, solar or Ethernet powered.

Privacy cameras

Near-infrared only, deliberately capped in resolution, for the rooms where a normal camera does not belong.

Sensors

Door and window reed contacts plus glass-break detectors, all battery powered and wireless.

Deterrent

An optional security fog on a confirmed, multi-sensor breach — the level where someone is already inside.
